September 23, 2009

There was a screw in the tire of my car? What? Who put it there? It couldn't have been me! haha...

Fire drills are no bueno. I always hated them growing up. I just wanted to get back in to work, so I started taking out a notebook and continued to work. But that was me....a little over the top in high school...;) ( Connie---There was a fire drill at school this week)

Can you send me "The Olive Tree" song in a letter (if you make a copy) or something? Or the whole book? Well, maybe not the whole book, but Away in a Manger and The Olive Tree...that should get me through for a while. They only have interim hymns in sacrament, and my comp can really sing, so I think that would be fun to play the Olive Tree and have her sing to have a musical number....

So Bobbie, the one I talked about last week, we met with her on Thursday and she said she wanted to get baptized! Woo hoo! I am so excited for her. She is wanting to be involved with everything! We get to talk to her about the Word of Wisdom this week, so that will be a fun adventure!

The mosquitoes here are huge and plentiful! Every time we took a step on the grass in Bridge City yesterday, six or more mosquitoes would come up from the grass....each step! I'm not lying or exaggerating, I promise! If anything, I am saying a little less so that people won't think I'm lying!

We had some intense rain the other day and some intense thunder. I think a lot of streets were flooded, but it was ok. We had 6 appts so we didn't have to be out in the water, but then when 3 of them canceled or weren't living in the house, we ended up being in the water a little....The weather here is a little messed up. Anyway....

Thanks for my teeth! They are beautiful!

Sorry, I ended that last one abruptly. I love you though! I will write next week. Maybe something really cool will happen...I don't know. I am sending a package! Exciting! It has a tape in it. Sister Shull taught me how to use tapes. Anyway, I love you mucho!
