My first blog post ever!

Hello! This is my first blog ever! I figure this will be a good thing to learn and I’ll work on becoming an excellent blogger like my sister Amy.

Let's see....cool things that have happened in my life in the last few weeks....

I helped run an event at UVU where we hosted 100 high school kids and put them through a series of events that tested their leadership skills and their interviewing skills to pick the next PLP (Presidential Leadership Program) kids....It turned out really good!

I went to the state competition for PBL (Phi Beta Lambda) and qualified for Nationals in 2 events: Hospitatlity Management and Management Concepts (I got two really cool placques that are on the piano at home). Nationals for PBL are June 20-23 in Anaheim, California. My roommate McKenzie is getting married on the 20th, so I need to figure something out with that.....

I got my first parking ticket ever last Friday! It was at the hotel where we were having our competition for PBL. I parked where the registered guests park, but I hadn't registered yet. My ticket was for $50, but after some hounding, they said they would take care of it if I gave them the ticket. Well, I couldn't find it! I found it after I got home.....My dad is so great and said he would fax it to them so they could take care of it. What a crapfest!

I got the best present ever from my hermana. She gave me a book with a bunch of meaningful pictures of me and different things I've done with my life for my 21st birthday. She is so great!

Pretty much I have the best family ever! They are always there for me and oh so supportive!
